A programming language for Windows, based on BASIC and of open code.

Although not immediately obvious as to what it does, XBLite is in reality an open code programming language that could be considered as a variant of XBasic, a version for Windows of BASIC.

In this XBLite pack there is a complete programming environment with its editor, compiler, demos, examples, etc to get everything possible out of it. According to the authors it is a concise, simple Windows programming language which combines the speed of C with the ease of a Basic syntax. The XBLite compiler is free, open-source, and published under GPL and LGPL licenses. There is also a programmers editor, called xsed, which is included.
